Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress. The most notable recognition was given to her for her performance as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) and Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). She also played the role of Jerrica Jem for the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. She also has an older sister named Ally. Aubrey was an actor with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. She was the valedictory speech for her class at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but later agreed to allow her in for an additional entry after she was chosen to play "Nashville". Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). Peeples was a part of the TV film Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. The latter was her most prominent role as Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama in the second season. Peeples revealed that she has bipolar disorder during an interview in 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples among the top performers under the age of twenty old in September 2014.
